Progressive cavity effluent pumps have a lot of advantages over floating pumps. For a start, they are a lot more efficient. They are at the side of the pond, so access is much simpler and safer, which means servicing is easier. You also use less power to get the same output, which, over the year, is money in your pocket. On top of that, the pump gives you a constant volume.
There are no surprises; it doesn’t matter how far the effluent has to travel, you have a uniform flow.
Nevada PC Pumps are all fitted with an Intelligent Pump Controller. Equipped with advanced sensors, this controller swiftly detects and responds to blockages and run-dry events, shutting the pump down immediately and automatically, preventing damage to the pump.
The other great feature with these controllers is their ability to be coupled with the auto shut-off valve on your irrigator. When the irrigator gets to the end of it’s run, the shut off valve closes and the controller shuts the pump down automatically, this prevents the irrigator spinning at the end of the run on the spot and also avoids ponding.
Nevada slurry tankers & stirrers are high-quality and trusted by New Zealand farmers for safety and reliability. That is why they are supported with a two year warranty, and backed by customer service that is second to none.
