After adding a large feedpad, and new effluent pond to the farm, they needed a faster method of spreading effluent. Mark had previously seen Nevada’s Drag Hose Rainwave System at the Northland Field Days, and thought it would be a good fit for his farm. So he gave Nevada a call. ‘It looked like a system that’d be easy to implement on the farm, and would let us spread over a wide range in a short amount of time – which is exactly what we need.’ Mark said.
The weather conditions in Gore are not always great for spreading, and with a lot on their plates, Mark and Paul really needed something that would make the best use of short windows of time. The drag hose system with RainWave™ applicator sounded ideal, so they went ahead and haven’t looked back!
