Single Axle Slurry Tankers

Nevada Single Axle Slurry Tankers are a great choice if you’ve got a smaller farm or farm with softer soils. Manoeuvring in and around gateways and other tight access areas is a breeze, and you’ll find less scuffing on grass.

SLURRY TANKERS

Great for smaller farms with softer soil.

Nevada Single Axle Slurry Tankers are a great choice if you’ve got a smaller farm or farm with softer soils. Manoeuvring in and around gateways and other tight access areas is a breeze, and you’ll find less scuffing on grass (although a lot of Nevada tandem axle tankers have a steering axle).

If you’ve only got a smaller tractor, or can only shift 6,150 – 10,000 litres (1300 – 2200 Gallons) a single axle will easily do the job!

RainWave™ Applicator Standard on Single Axle

All Nevada Slurry Tankers come standard with a RainWave™ effluent applicator, even these smaller single axle models.

The RainWave™ is designed to have an oscillating system that is self-driven. There is no hydraulic or electric drive, it simply oscillates from side to side to give a nice wide and even spread of effluent across the paddock. As the system oscillates, large droplets fall through the grass/crop onto the ground surface. There are virtually no wind drift issues and no volatilisation of nitrogen disappearing into the atmosphere. With minimal smell or odour, the Nevada RainWave™ gives an advantage for efficient and accurate spreading.

Galvanised Inside and Out

All Nevada tanks are made from quality European S235JR steel, a non-alloy structural steel made in accordance with the EN 10025-2 standard. S235JR steel is widely used for machine building and is ideal for slurry tanks as it is strong while being able to be rolled, welded, and hot-dip galvanised for protection.

Nevada slurry tankers go through a special manufacturing process where the reinforcing channels are submerged arc welded to the steel plates before the tank is rolled. This adds strength by creating a tank made from one piece so that there is no separation or areas where rust can form.

Galvanising is the only way to provide corrosion protection over the entire tank, including the joints. All Nevada tanks are hot-dip galvanised inside and out with the galvanising process being performed before the tank is put together. This ensures every crevice is protected from corrosion.

For added strength Nevada tanks also include internal baffles and anti-implosion rings.
